Stock images are individual images which picture buyers require for publishing in all manner of media. These can be direct sales or sales via a Picture Library. I have been published in more than 200 different titles: newspapers, magazines, books, promotional literature etc. all over the world. With the growth of the Internet many images are now being licensed for use on websites. It often surprises me when I see have been made a sale to countries like Brazil, South Africa and New Zealand etc. Fortunately the internet has now made it possible for Picture buyers to search images they require and download them for immediate publication.
